Try SAPDB. SAP created it to save its customers from paying heavily for the
database costs. SAP has teamed up with MySQL also.
code is ORACLE 7.X compatible (almost), short learning cycle.
Open Source
Freeware
Used by SAP to run part of its MySAP.com suite of applications.
Available at sapdb.org (SAP will ship the CD to you FOC).
Runs on Lin and Win.
Comes with lots of tools to develop and manage.
