Well... been there..:-) Many outlook users find it amusing to have ability to quote the text with '>' or some such thing. But the moment you mention you are not using outlook but something else, the interest evaporates faster than ether..

I think habit of top posting is most found in outlook users because it does not
quote as capably as some other MUAs do.

Of course, this may be wrong because I never used outlook.
