I'm about to buy a 160GB hard disk. My BIOS probably doesn't support
48 bit LBA. I'm going to put my Linux partition on the beginning of
the drive. Now, can I boot into the Linux machine? If I can boot, can
I access full 160GB from the Linux installation?

I also have a 40GB hard disk which will be the ide primary master and
the 160gb disk will be the promary slave. GRUB will be installed on
the MBR of the 40GB disk. There will be a Linux installation on the
40gb disk and another one on the 160 gb disk (at the beginning of the
160gb drive). the grub installation works through the one on the 40gb
disk which has been tested to work. My BIOS doesnt support 48 bit lba
and thus cant support full 160gb. Can I boot into Linux on the 160gb
drive? If I can boot into it, can I access the full 160gb disk space
from either of the Linux installations?

Also, has anyone has any experience with a 160 (or 160+) gb drive on a
BIOS that doesn support 48 bit lba?

Any help will be appreciated.
