Thanks to both of you for pointers.
I have looked at the PearPC site and it seems Sujith's view is correct.
THe question is interesting because a lot of equipment like
printers/scanners come with OEM drivers for MacOS X. If some such binary
compatibility is possible then the drivers can be used on Linux too.
