Hi All, We have an NIS/NFS setup in which the home directories of all users are located on a central fileserver. I am facing a problem for one particiular user account in which when I try bring up the desktop (kde) using startx (on a client machine), the machine starts the process of starting the desktop and fails to bring it up. The error I get on the console is
xset: bad font path element directory does not exist or has wrong permissions directory fonts.dir missing The GUI comes up properly for all NIS users as well as the local root user. I tried to find on google but couldn't find any relevant doc. Any help or clues would be greatly appreciated.
