Surprisingly, "debian intel 915" didn't give that result. "intel" wasn't the right word to use. I downloaded the xserver-xfree86 package fom there, and installed it. I then changed my driver to i810. Now, it detectes the 915G. But tuxracer still gives me the same poor performance. I tried adding VideoRam, but there still isn't any effect. I thought that this line from my XFree86 log would be useful. A lot of drmOpenDevice failed appear, followed by this line: (EE) I810(0): [dri] DRIScreenInit failed. Disabling DRI. Any further pointers? Thanks. Kumar ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IntelliVIEW -- Interactive Reporting Tool for open source databases.
