More work done on http://linux-india.org/ . Let's see if we can summarise... - - More LUGs added. New LUG section ``Other'' (i.e. LUGs not associated directly with a city or a state, e.g. College LUGs). - - We have crossed 100 members. If your web site is up on linux-india.org do send me your user ID. - - Frederick Noronha has volunteered to handle the News page. I've given him admin access there, no idea yet whether it works or not :) Please thank Fred for the offer. - - News submission system installed on the News page. Fill out the form and it will get mailed to Fred (and me for the time being) for inclusion in the News section. - - I'm maintaining the Security News section. Updates available as of today. - - Resources section updated with LIH, LIG and LIP mailing list information. Please report broken/incorrect links -- it's a copy-and-paste job. - - Forums initiated with a discussion group on the web site itself. You can also post your offers for maintaining part of the site there. You could post other stuff too which I shall happily ignore <g,d&r> TODO ==== Still need volunteers for the following: - - Handle job postings - - Make the front page and the About page - - Handle Event postings - - Create sites in the portal and start filling in the Users Pages section - - Handle LUG listings. I'm doing it for the time being, would prefer to be relieved of that job. - - Suggest Forums that would be meaningful.
