I loop mounted all CDs on a server and soft linked it to make available under /var/www/html Then used wget to fetch tree under "pool", which contain "main" and "contrib". The 15 CDs were made available like: /home/software/debian/dists/sarge/packages/binary-i386/debian/CD_Number/pool/ .. where CD_Number varies from 1 through 15. > cd /home/software/debian > dpkg-scanpackages dists/sarge/packages/binary-i386 /dev/null > \ > dists/sarge/packages/binary-i386/Packages Done.
