Hi, I have an pppoe connection from iqara on Mandrake 10.0 official. The short story is that I changed to BSNL for a while and now with iqara does not work. I am using roaring penguin client. Now it says authentication failed. So I hacked into its scripts to make it show password, it was sending to remote server, to syslog. I found that it was sending passowrd as "1" I checked and rechecked and rechecked chap-secrets and pap-secrets to make sure the password there is right and in right syntax. Now I am at loss as to where the password "1" is coming from. Not too sure but I believe that iqara uses chap. Can someone give tips at handling this? I have given logs below with the options file. I also tried it with require-chap tag in that file.
