Hi Ravi,
When I was on dialup, I would notch up something like Rs.600/+, since I
try various software and sometimes attempted distros also (whole night
:).

So, when BSNL gave an offer, I took it. The offer is - if I take
Broadband connection before 31st March, I get unlimited download upto
June. Since the speed is faster and the expenses same, I took the
plunge. After June, monthly limit is 2GB, if I cross that, I have to pay
Rs2/- per every 2MB crossed, fair enough, for me :D

Since I have just started, I have to see at the end of next month
whether I cross 2GB or not !!
