Firstly check the RAID status using 'cat /proc/mdstat'
It would probably say your second disk is in failed status - it would
look something like this.
md7 : active raid1 sdb7[1] sda7[0]
2104384 blocks [2/1] [U_]
Next you need to reactivate your failed partition using the following
command
mdadm -a /dev/md7 /dev/sda7
