script is invoked with "source ./scriptname" exits the current shell where
as the ". ./scriptname" did not.
You sure? Both versions exits the current shell for me.
I think I made a mistake. I could not able to reproduce the result. Probably i might have been in multiple sessions and didnt have noticed the exit from one shell.
