FC3 comes with Xorg rather than XFree86 I think. Anyway, login as root in console mode (runlevel 3) Then - # X -configure That'll save a basic X config file in /root/Xorg.conf Then open both your default fc3 xorg.conf and this one, and do some judicious copying and pasting .. you'll get the chipset, monitor etc setup - then you have to expand the xorg.conf to include higher resolutions (1024x768 / 800x600 at 16bpp etc) -srs ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tell us your software development plans!
