Thankyou so much Raj you gave me all the info I neded and 1 compleated
RAID1 configuration on Sarge with the above steps successfully.

BUT I think the Sarge installer instaled GRUB only on hd0 and not on hd1!!!

Could you please tell me how to verify this 

and how do I test my RAID1 to see if it is working fine????

If I remove the first hard disk will it boot from the Second one and
work fine???

and if I replace the first Hard disk will it rejoin te array???
