Hello,
I use Proftp(Version 1.2.10) as server SW on anonymous ftp
server and likes to use xdir as ftp client sw.I get the following error
and cannot connect to the ftp server.Has anyone tried xdir and
proftpd(server)
for ftp connection? The error I get

I see all the directories on the ftp server. The server should open a
a window
on my client with the directory names. Afterwaiting I get the error
mentioned before.
For testing Iam using port number 10000 for ftp.
