Wonderful effort. Really appreciable. I downloaded your RPM, 'alien'ed it to .deb and installed; works just like you have said it should. Now, could you please tell me in simple language, how do I use it ?? Or, in case you have told it somewhere, point me to it. I am eagerly waiting to write in my mother-tongue. .............. Further on this topic. After xinput starts, menu stops working. So, I started gedit and then started xinput. Now, after choosing Bengali from the xinput menu, whtaever I type gets written in the Bengali alphabets. But my mouse stopped working, and I could not come out of xinput / gedit. However, I could go to another console and kill xinput from there. Then I needed to kill X and start over again. Also, 'help' does not provide any help, it only gives some info. 'OK' and 'Advance' are not yet implemented. Even with all the above, I really liked the effort, compared with the others. A little more polish would be worth the effort. -- K.Ghosh 093 910 58 749 [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Debian GNU/Linux user No.301508 ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list linux-india-help@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
