Hi, I have HP Suredat 40 connected to my Dell server (SCSI) running Fedora Core 3. Recently I am getting problems with my tape drive. When I issue "mt erase", the process hangs forever and following error occurs in messages file
Sep 23 12:17:28 rainmail kernel: st0: Error with sense data: Current st0: sense key Aborted Command Sep 23 12:17:28 rainmail kernel: Additional sense: Data phase error What is the reason and what is the solution for this? Even I have cleaned the tape drive with cleaning catridge.
