Hi! I am trying to look at all the LDAP schemas that I should be using for these typical applications: - Unix accounts: mailboxes, passwords, etc. - Samba accounts: machines, samba users, etc. - Office address book.
As far as I found out, - I needed posixAccount, posixGroup which are available in standard openldap. - samba.schema file that comes along with the samba 3 distro. Which schema would work best for an office addressbook? I vaguely remember some mozilla specific objectclasses, but cant figure out where it is, or whether this moz- specific addressbooks are compatible with all mail clients which support LDAP addressbooks. What would you advise? Also, is there any schema or mail routing for users? I want to have flexibility in specifying the smtp mail server for a particular user. - Sandip -- Sandip Bhattacharya * Puroga Technologies * [EMAIL PROTECTED] Work: http://www.puroga.com * Home/Blog: http://www.sandipb.net/blog PGP/GPG Signature: 51A4 6C57 4BC6 8C82 6A65 AE78 B1A1 2280 A129 0FF3 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussions, and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list linux-india-help@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
