This could be because (a) Your default debconf "show only of priority
X and above" is set too high, or more likely (b) Clamav in sarge does
not have a debconf-configurable thingummy.
You could try 'dpkg-reconfigure --priority-low clamav' to see if
allows you to do something. If that fails, you will have to edit the
configuration files by hand as srs suggested.
