when you have a long name .. use initials :) about rootkit detection? well, you have the usual ways, checksumming, checking for open ports, mounting /tmp so that people can't upload rootkits to it, auditing other stuff (php / perl applications like phpnuke, awstats, contact forms etc) that are on the server for anything that'd leave it open to cross site scripting or upload holes ..
