I myself have been wondering why the number of posts to LI* have been
steadily going down. I suspect it is because of the availability of
several other forums of support for the Linux enthusiast in India
today. Local LUGs are a big help, for one. Or, as some people have
suggested, LI missed the one chance to be a truly unifying force back
in 2000/2001 when we decided to continue with the informal nature of
LI.

I have been wondering whether it is time for a LI revival. Should we
move it to its own (web|mail|irc) server (like the good old days) and
take it from there?
