You may have to make that 20GB partition as type NTFS and create an ntfs
filesystem (I dont know of utilities to create ntfs filesystem. But you can
create it under xp) and copy the files to it. Your kernel or the kernel
module must have the ntfs write support.
Well, dd did work, it took a whole night to do so. But the file has ultimately
been transfered as required.
