i work with a comparatively new creative vista (D) . had to install ov51x-jpeg.ko module ( http://www.rastageeks.org/ov51x-jpeg/index.php/Main_Page ) on my Debian Etch box running on a HP laptop. This device needs some tuning for working with Ekiga. My way video conf being kopete with yahoo messenger for video and skype for voice.
