On an Acer make laptop (Aspire 5738) with the following configuration
1. CPU Intel Core 2 Duo T6600
2. GPU: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics
Controller (rev 07) Subsystem: Acer Incorporated [ALI] Device 0205
3. Memory: 4GB
4. Distribution: Fedora Core 13 with all updates applied
5. Kernel: 2.6.34.6-54.fc13.i686

After using the system for sometime the mouse response becomes jerky
and slow. Though switching to console (by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F2 etc),
the system is usable from command line.
When the system is running slow, on viewing output of "top", there are
two "kslowd" processes that are accumulating CPU time (around 15% to
20%)

On checking various mailing lists the following seems to be the problem:
http://us.generation-nt.com/answer/why-kslowd-accumulating-so-much-cpu-time-help-198841741.html

Can someone suggests a workaround to this problem. We tried using VESA
inplace of intel for xorg.conf but then the screen starts flickering
and display in general is unusable.

Thanks in advance.
