An Internet startup, promoted by IIT/IIM alumni and faculty, is looking for
people with expertise in xml/java/perl/apache/mod_perl for web based
application development. This startup is focussing on providing web based
products , to begin with, for the educational instituitions and later on
for other segments of the market.
It is also developing an educational portal and the pre-launch prototype
has been received very well by the VC and educational community which is
indicative of a favourable valuation.
This is very much a startup job, characterised by immense energy, freedom
to experiment with technologies, creativity and on-job learning, and of
course generous stock options.
We are looking for people with experience in the range of 1-5 years.
Exposure to linux will be an added advantage.
