No, I don't. I clearly questioned it with "if this is true".
However I used the opportunity to bring across another point - that
Windows/Microsoft bashing is not doing Linux any good. Support for that
kind of behaviour will inevitably result in articles like this - because
it is seen as "cool" and "with it".
As you pointed out - the article is otherwise pretty good and in most
places well-informed. This means that the writer was "fed" by someone who
had a clue.
It appears that *someone* from ILUG-Delhi talked to this spineless wonder
who wrote that piece of trash of an intro. Do you really think the guy
would have had the intelligence to come up with this gem on his own? It
has all the trappings of some hot-blooded kid "decorating" the report with
an event that seemed "right" in his imagination.
Whoever was responsble for reporting this "event" carries as much blame as
the guy who wrote about it.
Let's not get into a fight about this - you know as well as I do what I am
talking about here - the facist attitude is *not* good press for Linux.
