Last time I contacted the KAR NIC sysadmin he said "we would upgrade to sendmail 8.9.3 but that does not support UUCP mails so we will stick to smi/svr4 till the elections are over" (?!?!?! why the hell not ?!?!?!) -- he's still not done anything about this. As it is, kar.kar.nic.in (Nat'l Informatics Center Karnataka) and giascla.vsnl.net.in (VSNL Calcutta is it?) have been hijacked by spammers in the recent past.
