But considering the discussion that > has been going on around here about open relays I thought people > might be interested in this. Not at all. This is not an ad / marketing brochure for any product, and is just news about a new mailserver on Debian. Properly worded and quite well worded at that - the mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] (to which the original post was made) is full of anti spammers - mostly sysadmins, so anyone spamming them will soon wish he had never got the bright idea. Also, he will be minus whatever internet account he used / website he advertised, which, in some cases, will be disconnected within the hour. This should serve as a strong hint to some of the local web dev outfits who spamvertise their services (at least two in Hyderabad). Both of them - like everyone else - lease server space in the States, and their ISPs (or at least backbone providers) have very strong Anti Spam policies. - --s [now, ~this~ is rather off topic - though relevant to those of you who are sysadmins / into web development <g>] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 6.0.2 -- QDPGP 2.60 iQA/AwUBOBTuQZqQidQMDLaoEQLMcACfaqCFpkwOq0wDZQz9vS8G6xo62IwAoPeD LvRVPhuUJ7AAsJd+W47cHLJZ =dNm1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Suresh Ramasubramanian, CAUCE India [EMAIL PROTECTED] | [EMAIL PROTECTED] Stop Spam | Join CAUCE | http://www.cauce.org Phone: +(91-40)3736553/3745398 | eFax: +(1-603)590-5437 If it weren't for the last minute, nothing would get done. -------------------------------------------------------------------- The Linux India Mailing List Archives are now available.
