this is a common problem wit the SiS6215 model based on a SiS6205 chipset. 
and the soln lies in the /etc/X11/Xf86Config file. try configuring out this 
file correctly by editing it with the correct paramaters of your system. and 
if you still have any problem , get back to me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] 
and i'll send you a configured working sample of this file.
