Hello Folks, Just accomplished the feat of using Lotus notes client on Linux. The procedure to run Lotus notes Client is as follows: Download Wine ( Anyway i have it now ) from http://www.winehq.org or http://rufus.w3.org and install it. Then edit /etc/wine/wine.conf and edit the relevant entries in the [Drive C] section change the path line as follows path=/dosc /* this is where I mount my windows partition */ and in the [wine] section add a line printer=on and in the [Tweak.Layout] section change the line as follows WineLook=win95 and We are ready to run Lotus Notes on Linux. ;-) Now goto /dosc/notes directory and run wine notes & which should start Lotus Notes for you. Please note: Replace /dosc with the directory name where you mount your windows partition. Well, I am sending this mail from Lotus Notes running in Linux. All these days I was sort of tired rebooting between windows and Linux. Now I can safely boot into Linux and use it the wholeeeeee day and also use Lotus notes at the same time. Yaaaaaaaahhooooooooooooo!! Well, I think I can write one more HOWTO now. ;-) That's all folks. Happy Linuxing.....
