If Netsonic does Caching then it may be doing it at 2 level

        a) Caching of the pages already visited. ( Squid will do this very well
)

        b) Caching of the pages likely to be visited (i.e the links in the
current pages) ( I am not sure whether Squid can do this, However if you are a
programmer with understanding of (BSD) Sockets, HTTP and text parsing (with
HTML knowledge) this can be achieved in Linux also.)
