well i havnt got a samtron.. but why dont u configure it as a generic monitor. and then u can tweak the settings by editing the XF86Config file. u can get the best out of ur monitor that way. as for the aztec sndcrd.. hav no ideas.. tell me the ramdac values and prob. i can help u out w.t that bit.
