I am having standalone m/c with RH6.1.
I have the following lines in /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 lvghomepc.visakha lvghomepc
192.168.1.1 lvghomepc.visakha lvghomepc
192.168.1.10 dgmpspc.visakha dgmpspc

my host.conf file is as given below
order hosts,bind
multi on

when I ask for http://lvghomepc or http://127.0.0.1, iget apache page.
In case of http://192.168.1.1, idon't get anything. I get msg unable to
connect to remote host.
Why the latter one is not recognised.
