Hi, I pulled out my CDROM cable while Linux was shutting down. After that, every time I boot in, I get the followinglines and it goes for a reboot. This is maddening. I had to watch it go for a reboot 5 times during taking the below messages down. >VFS:mounting root ( ext2 filesystem) readonly. >change_root: old root has d_count=1 >trying to unmount root... ok >Freeing unused kernel memory: 64k freed >Warning: Unable to open an internal console. Anybody have any ideas? What the heck is an internal console anyway? -Kalyan -------------------------------------------------------------------- The Linux India Mailing List Archives are now available.
