Hi
I remember when PCQ shipped MIX server (X server for Windoze), I tried
it on a Win machine and I was able to run X applications even when my
Linux box was in console mode (not running X). Of course, I had to
telnet to it, set DISPLAY, and start X applications from telnet
session.
I doubt if one can stop that too (which I think is what Sunil
requires). Since login was through telnet, X-Display manager doesn't
come to picture in this case.
