I recently installed RHL 6.1 from the PCQ CD on a friends new machine
which has a Mercury T810B motherboard which is based on intel 810
chipset. When we booted after the installation we could not type at
all, not even the username to login. Then I booted in the interactive
mode with most of the services not started and could work in the text
mode but when I tried to run setup the system again stopped
responding to the keyboard.
The video card is on the mother board itself and the manual says it
allocates memory dynamically from the system memory.
Anybody had similar trouble? how did you get around it?
Please help.
