Hi!
1. I just wanted to know if there are any search engine available for Linux.
I am using Linux 5.2 with Apache as our WebServer at our local intranet and
would like to index all the pages so that they can be searched for.
We are using a search engine called Alkaline (http://www.vestris.com). But,
a GPL'd software would be much better.
2. By the way could someone tell me how to start a daemon automatically? I
want the search engine to be started automatically when I boot up. Right
now, I have to get into root and them start it manually. I heard that there
is some sort of something.conf or something.rc that I have to edit, but
don't know exactly what.
Thanks,
