dear gurujis
im a newbie on p-iii-550mhz -128mb ram -17gb hdd loaded redhat linux 6.1,
kernel :- 2.2.12. wanted mu aztech USB modem to work,
so downloaded kernel :- 2.3.12. did gzip., mkdir linux-2.3.12.
did make xconfig , selected required modules and etc saved config
did make dep clean finally did "make zImage"
now where the hell is a new "vmlinuz" or "zImage" which i want
lilo to boot it. i did not find in any of /us/src/linux/arch/i386/boot/
please help - I want my USB modem to work
