There is no such universally accepted benchmark. Close approximations:
lmbench - you should be able to see submitted numbers on lmbench page
Mindcraft - though this was much maligned initially, it is an accepted
fact that Linux didn't do very well on SMP boxes.
ZD netbench - see their page for details.
The main problem is to get all the players on a level playing field and
having them play each other.
There are lies, damn lies and then there are benchmarks :)
