Hi Raj / others,
I've been doing the same and it works fine, but I have a doubt and
a problem... Now I frequently get hold of direct links to binary files.
Say it is http://www.xyz.com/a.tar.gz

Now when I type in this URL at the goto prompt, sometimes the file
download is initiated wherin the download proceeds normally. Some other
times, the whole of the binary file loads up in the browser??? Any ideas
why? Moreover when the file loads up in the browser window and I do a
"print" --> "save to local file" the file gets corrupted... probably
because the "print" part treats the file as an ASCII file and messing up
the CR/LF part(I'm not sure about this though). Again any ideas why? How
can I get around this? I think it should help if I create a local htm file
with all my links and use the direct "D" for download - right?

Thanx and bye ... Raju.
