passwords are static ie are used each time to login until changed, very
vulnerable to crack and sniffers. Enter OTP or One time passwords (negotiated
every time a user logs in ,sounds like fun ?). The process (client/server)
involves initializing users on the server side and at login time a protocol is
used between client and server to authenticate the user. Two OTP programs
I know of are "S/key" http://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux/system/security/
and
"OPIE "ftp.inner.net.pub/opie
I havent seen a donkey in a long time :-). Sorry no clues here
