Has anyone replied to this to your satisfaction? If not let me

One of the great things about FBDev is it allowed me to create a
"live CD" that I can boot any fairly recent (at most 2 years old)
PC, and get a fully GUI Linux environment with *all* the software
I need and use, including bloated stuff like Netscape! All this
without knowing or caring what video card is even in the machine
