This problem is a sendmail issue. My mutt had a similar problem.
What is ur FQDN ? In sendmail, u can set where ur mail is originating
from. In ur case, it should be from giasmda.vsnl.net.in
Masquerade where ur mail is originating from to giasmda.vsnl.net.in
Now send ur mail from user account gautamg, after creating user gautamg
in ur local machine. I see u already have one.
