I was trying to use kppp to connect to my VSNL account but the
ppp daemon died with the following messages (in the log file) ...
Feb 23 07:11:03 localhost pppd[524]: pppd 2.3.10 started by root, uid 0
Feb 23 07:11:03 localhost pppd[524]: Using interface ppp0
Feb 23 07:11:03 localhost pppd[524]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/ttyS1
Feb 23 07:11:06 localhost pppd[524]: Serial line is looped back.
Feb 23 07:11:06 localhost pppd[524]: Connection terminated.
Feb 23 07:11:06 localhost pppd[524]: Exit.
.... i have entered "noauth" in the /etc/ppp/options file
... please help.
