Hi all,
I've recently acquired a mouse that reports several input devices, one
of them being a keyboard (lsusb info attached), and only the keyboard is
recognized when using a stock kernel. The mouse is thus rendered not
functional. Applying this patch from two years ago [1] solved the issue.
My question now is: Is there some particular reason why it was not
discussed at all and has not made it into mainline, or was it just
forgotten among all the other stuff? Note that this patch is not
specific to one device, as my mouse is completely different from the
device mentioned in the patch, and I've seen several reports on the net
where this patch was also successfully applied to different brands of
input devices [2. 3, 4]
