[X.] Other notes, patches, fixes, workarounds:
An external USB mouse works when it is connected (and is visible in
proc/input/devices as the 2.4GHz receiver). The touchpad remains
dead.The touchpad works in windows 7 (dual boot system) so I am sure
it is not a hardware issue.
