Problem with irda and HP LJ 5P

Hi,

I am using a Sony VAIO 735 with kernel 2.2.10. Now I'd like to print on my HP LJ 5P, 
which has got irda. I do modprobe irda, modprobe irtty, irmanager -d 1, irattach 
/dev/ttyS2, everything's fine, the irda LED of the printer is blinking like a madman, 
but I don't get anything in /proc/net/irda/discovery, and I cannot talk to the printer.

Any idea? What am I doing wrong?
