Hi,
I tested this on a vaio N505X the irda works but still doesnt recover
after suspend.
I suspect this is something funny about vaio's and interupts after
suspend.
Notably I can now unload the module after a suspend - not that this
helps.
If you need any further information or can make any recomendations where
to look let me know. I know C well but dont know too much about the
kernel yet...
