Hi,

my IrDA setup has recently stopped working. I'm vaguely suspicious
that this is something broken in the 2.4.2 kernel, but here's what's
up: when I run irattach, I get the above error reported in
/var/log/messages. This happens whether I use irda on the actual IR
port or on the serial port (after setserial /dev/ttyS0 uart none port
0) using irport. My irda-utils appear to be current. Any suggestions?

On a side note, I think the IrDA port may have been killed off by
windows, but as I say above, I'm getting this error on the regular
serial port, too.

Cheers,
Waider.
