Pretty good, but you mention nothing about turning Flow Control off. If
you had done this you wouldn't need to activate IrDA on the phone
approx 1 second after pppd is started. Minicom has an option in Serial
port setup and ppp has an option for it. I think it's either nocrtscts
or nocdtrcts or maybe both.
